Terms of sale
Last updated: 2026-10-09
These terms apply to everything you buy in Paladiny with real money. The seller is Potomitan SASU, a French simplified joint-stock company with a sole shareholder (SASU), 31 rue Montagne de la Fage, 75015 Paris, France, registration [to be completed: registration], VAT [to be completed: vat_number], contact [to be completed: contact_email]. The game itself is free; buying is always optional.
1 · What is sold
Paid options are digital content used inside the game. At the date of these terms they are of three kinds, and others may be added with their own description:
- A purse of gold: a fixed amount of in-game gold added to one of your characters or to your account, as described when you buy.
- Magic dice: a number of single-use dice. Used before an action, or loaded, a magic die makes the next roll of the kind it was bought for come out at its highest result (for example the life points gained when a character reaches a new level). The effect is certain and written on the offer: nothing about a purchase is left to chance, and no offer is a random box or prize.
- Additional access: an extra access to a place or service in the game (for example the monastery), for the length and under the conditions written on the offer.
Each offer states what you get, for which character or account, and for how long, before you pay. The pictures and texts of the game describe it faithfully but are not a promise of any particular result in play.
2 · Prices
Prices are in euros, with VAT included where it applies, and are shown on the offer before you pay. The price shown when you confirm is the price you pay. We may change prices or stop an offer at any time; this does not change what you have already bought.
3 · Who may buy
Purchases are for adults. A minor may buy only with the agreement of the holder of parental authority, who is responsible for the payment. By buying you say that you are allowed to, and that the payment card is yours or that you may use it.
4 · How you order
- You choose an offer and check what it gives and what it costs.
- You go to the payment page of Stripe, which takes the payment. We never see your card number.
- You confirm. The order is final when the payment is accepted, and you receive a receipt by email.
- The content is delivered at once, to the character or account named on the offer. If it does not arrive, write to [to be completed: contact_email] with the reference of your receipt.
5 · Right of withdrawal
A consumer in the European Union normally has 14 days to withdraw from a distance purchase. For digital content that is delivered at once and is not on a physical medium, the law lets the right end when delivery begins, if you have first asked for the immediate delivery and have acknowledged that you lose your right of withdrawal. Before each payment you will therefore be asked to tick a box saying so. If you do not tick it, you cannot buy. Once you have ticked it and the content has been delivered, you cannot withdraw.
6 · What you keep and what you may lose
What you buy belongs to your account for use in the game only. It is part of a living world: a character who owns a purse may be robbed, a character who dies takes what it carries with it, and a magic die used on a roll is spent. None of this gives a right to be refunded or compensated. This is written on each offer, because it matters before you buy. What you buy cannot be transferred, resold or exchanged for money (see the terms of use).
7 · If something is wrong
You keep all your legal rights, including the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content: if what you bought does not work, is not as described, or is not delivered, we will deliver it, repair it, or, if that is impossible, refund you in proportion. Write to [to be completed: contact_email] with your receipt reference; we answer within a few days. A payment made by mistake, or taken twice, is refunded.
8 · If the game stops or your account is closed
If we end the game, we will announce it in advance and refund, where the law requires it, the unused part of anything that lasts over time. An account closed for breaking the terms of use loses its paid options without refund, except where the law says otherwise.
9 · Invoices and your data
Your receipt is sent by email and may be kept for ten years, as accounting law requires. See the privacy policy for what is kept and how to use your rights.
10 · Complaints, mediation, law
Write first to [to be completed: contact_email]. If we cannot settle it, a consumer may use, free of charge, the mediator the seller belongs to: [to be completed: mediator]. These terms are governed by French law, without removing the protection a consumer has under the law of the country where they live. The courts are those the law designates.
