By creating an account on Paladiny you accept these terms. Paladiny is a browser game, free to play, published by Potomitan SASU.

1 · Your account

• You must give a working email address, which is needed to reset your password. One person, one account.
• Keep your password to yourself. What happens through your account is your responsibility.
• You must be at least 16 years old, or have a parent’s agreement.
• You may stop playing at any time. To have your account deleted, write to [to be completed: contact_email].

2 · Fair play

You agree not to:

• use bots, scripts or any automatic means of playing other than the game’s own Autopilot;
• exploit a fault in the game for advantage instead of reporting it;
• create several accounts to help each other or to cheat;
• attack, overload or probe the service, or try to reach data that is not yours;
• use someone else’s payment card, or reverse a payment while keeping what you bought;
• choose names that are offensive, hateful, or that impersonate others.

3 · Gold and everything in the game

Gold, items, levels and characters exist only in the game. They have no value in real money and can never be exchanged back into money. Apart from the paid options described in the terms of sale, they are earned only by playing. You may not sell, buy, lend or trade them, or accounts, with other people or on outside sites. Whatever you have, including what you bought through a paid option, can be lost in play: a character may die, be robbed, jailed or maimed, and nothing lost that way is given back. The world is living: rivals act whether you are present or not, and a character can be wounded, robbed, jailed, maimed or killed. This is part of the game and gives no right to compensation.

3b · Paid options

The game stays free to play. A few optional extras can be bought with real money, for example a purse of gold, magic dice that make a chosen roll come out at its best, or an extra access to a place in the game. They save time or add a choice; they are not needed to play and finish nothing for you. The paid options are sold on the conditions of the terms of sale, which come before these terms on anything bought. Paid options never give a right to a result in the game beyond what is written in their description.

4 · The service

We try to keep the game running and fair, but it is provided as it is and may be interrupted, changed, reset or stopped, with or without notice, for example for maintenance or to correct a fault. We may change rules and numbers to keep the game balanced. We are not liable for losses resulting from interruptions, data loss or changes, within the limits the law allows. If the game stops for good, we will say so in advance and, where the law requires it, give back the part of a paid option that has not been used.

5 · Moderation

If you break these terms we may warn you, restrict, suspend or delete your account, and take back anything gained unfairly. If we close an account for breaking these terms, paid options on it are not refunded, except where the law says otherwise.

6 · Content and property

The game and its content belong to the publisher (see the legal notice). You get a personal right to play. The names you give your characters stay yours, but you let us display them to other players.

7 · Your data

8 · Changes, law and disputes

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows when. Material changes are announced by email or by a notice on the site at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to play after that date means you accept them. These terms are governed by French law. A consumer may also use a consumer mediator (see the legal notice); French courts are competent unless the law says otherwise.
